The main function is to convert toxic gases, pollutants to harmless gases, helps to purify treat car exhaust. By using, it can help to improve exhaust gas velocity, save horsepower and torque. Great emissions control, high efficiency and work efficiently. Restricted States: California, New York, Colorado & Maine. Buick LeSabre 20002005 Buick Park Avenue 20002005 Pontiac Bonneville 20012005.
1 pcs Catalytic Converter w/Installation Accessories. Not legal for sale in California, New York, Colorado & Maine! Also not fit for Asian vehicles. If your vehicle meets California requirements, but is not registered in California, New York, Colorado & Maine, this converter will work on your vehicle. FIVE CHECKS BEFORE REPLACING A CATALYTIC CONVERTER.
Converters don't fail on their own, complete these five checks before replacing a catalytic converter. Retrieve / repair all PCM trouble codes, check for any available TSBs or PCM re-flash updates. Make sure vehicle is in proper fuel control. Always check for internal coolant leaks and excessive oil consumption.
Make sure you have the right part for the application. WHY A CATALYTIC CONVERTER FAILS. Converters don't fail on their own; failure is usually a symptom of a larger problem. This is why it is important to identify the root cause of the failure and perform the repair prior to installing a new converter. Most catalytic converter failures fall under one of three categories. Overheated, melted or broken converters. Universal fit catalytic converters have a customizable design with expandable bushings to adapt to connector pipes based on the repair.
They may require specialized fabrication and welding for installation. Pre-bent routings hangers and flanges for OE-style direct-fit catalytic converters attach to the exhaust system for a direct-fit bolt-off, bolt-on solution. No matter what you select, all converters must meet the emission requirements of the vehicle and cannot be chosen by size alone. WHAT TO DO IF CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON? Troubleshoot an illuminated check engine light by making sure the gas and oil caps are on tight and that the oil dipstick is seated correctly. If the light remains lit, it could be triggered by a faulty oxygen sensor, failing catalytic converter, bad spark plugs, malfunctioning thermostat or bad mass air flow sensor. If the light remains on, make sure to make an appointment with your service provider as soon as possible. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EPA AND CARB CONVERTERS. EPA-compliant catalytic converters are for use on EPA or Federal emissions certified-vehicles. In those states, you must install a CARB-compliant catalytic converter on CARB emissions certified vehicles in the states of California and Colorado, on all vehicles. CARB-compliant converters contain more catalyst material in order to converter emissions more efficiently and comply with stricter emissions reduction requirements. Check the vehicle's emissions control information label and consult your state's aftermarket converter regulations to select the right catalytic converter. Our catalytic converters are built to meet OEM specifications and have EPA certification.
They also feature a high flow design to increase conversion efficiency and vehicle power without sacrificing flow rate. The high flow catalytic converters with heavy-duty stainless steel construction feature maximum durability. Firmly welded connections can withstand high temper and pressures for longer service life. These free-flow catalytic converters have bolt-on connections and flange to flange design for effortless installation. They're also complete with full accessories as gaskets and hardware, facilitating your replacement. Such high flow converters are designed with honeycomb structures.
They turn pernicious gases, such as CO, HC, NOx, into innocuous ones like CO? , contributing to the purification of exhaust gases. The direct-fit catalytic converters are compliant with OBD III Standards but not with CARB. Thus, they can be used in most states except California, not legal for use on vehicles required to meet CA emission standards. California, Colorado, New York, Maine.

Input Shaft Diameter(in): 0.68in. Input Shaft Length(in): 1.77in. Pressure Port Thread Size: M161.5. Return Port Thread Size: M171.5.
Number of Mounting Holes: 2. Distance Between Mounting Holes (in). Rack Length (in): 56.73in.Steering gear, also called steering gear, is the most important part of automobile steering system. Power steering (PAS) or steering assist system helps drivers steer by augmenting steering effort of the steering wheel.
Power steering rack and pinion is the most important part for vehicle swerving and security assurance. It converts the rotational motion of the steering wheel into the linear motion needed to turn the wheels and provides a gear reduction, thus making it easier to turn the wheels. High-quality replacement:Power steering rack and pinion.
100% tested For reliability and performance. Top performance For long service life.Undergone strict tests to ensure reliable performance. Air Tested to Ensure Reliable Performance. Hydraulically Tested to Ensure Internal By-Pass for Both High and Low Pressures. Road simulated for proper functioning. Simple installation and and long life as a guarantee. Backed by satisfying after-sales service. In order to ensure the normal operation of the steering gear, relevant parts shall be cleaned as much as possible before installation. In order to avoid the fault caused by the dirt entering the steering oil circuit, the plug on each oil port of steering pump of steering gear shall be opened before connecting the oil pipe, and the oil pipe and plug shall be carefully cleaned and deburred. Turn the steering wheel to the straight ahead position.
Clean the mounting bracket of the steering gear and relevant mating surfaces of the steering gear. For the adjustable steering column, use a suitable rope to pass through the space of the cross fork of the steering shaft, hang the steering shaft, and connect the steering shaft and the input shaft of the steering gear. Turn the steering gear to the middle position to align the relevant marks at the input end and output end of the steering gear. Install the steering gear on the mounting base and tighten the fixing bolts. Universal joint or coupling between mounting column and steering gear. For the adjustable steering column, the upper end seal of the steering gear shall not be damaged when the universal joint is installed. Keep the steering wheel in straight ahead position.
Put the pitman arm on the steering gear to align the two marks. Tighten the locknut according to the specified torque and rivet (anti loose pit). How to Replace a Power Steering Rack.Drain the power steering fluid, loosen the front wheel nuts and jack up the car. Once the vehicle is properly supported on the jack stands, remove the front wheel lug nuts and the wheels. Detach the clamps connecting the steering column to the piston.
Disconnect the outer rod ends using a special tie rod separator or ball joint fork. Loosen the nuts and turn the rods. Remove the faulty steering rack.
Insert a drainage pan under the car to catch any fluid and unbolt the power steering rack from its seating. Remove the rack via one of the wheel wells.Use plenty of effort, patience and ingenuity. Install the new power steering rack. Using the same exit point as your entry point, insert the replacement rack into position using the required force.
Measure the length of the old rack to determine the precise positions of the tie and cotter pins. Insert the pins in the new rack. Reattach the hoses, except the steering fluid reservoir return line. Replace the components that were removed to enable access to the rack, together with the front wheels. Bleed the power steering system.
Turn the steering wheel back and forth for about 15 minutes to release air trapped in the system. Turn off the engine and let it stand before topping up the reservoir with fluid. If the fluid is light brown in colour or has foam on the top, repeat the process until the fluid is clear.Reattach the reservoir hose, remove the drainage pan, lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts. How to process a return? Provide images of the outer package, scan label, item itself, and complete accessories, etc. The item must be in unused condition with the original package. The outer package must not have any damage. Obtain a return label for the return. We will do our best to address your needs.
