Steering gear, also called steering gear, is the most important part of automobile steering system. Power steering (PAS) or steering assist system helps drivers steer by augmenting steering effort of the steering wheel. Power steering rack and pinion is the most important part for vehicle swerving and security assurance. It converts the rotational motion of the steering wheel into the linear motion needed to turn the wheels and provides a gear reduction, thus making it easier to turn the wheels. Item Type: Power Steering Rack and Pinion Assembly. OE Number: 4420042120, 4550349055, 26-2612. 1x Power Steering Rack and Pinion Assembly. High-quality replacement:Power steering rack and pinion. This part may also be known as:Power steering (PAS) or steering assist system.

100% tested For reliability and performance. Top performance For long service life. Undergone strict tests to ensure reliable performance. Air Tested to Ensure Reliable Performance.

Hydraulically Tested to Ensure Internal By-Pass for Both High and Low Pressures. Road simulated for proper functioning.

Simple installation and and long life as a guarantee. Backed by satisfying after-sales service. In order to ensure the normal operation of the steering gear, relevant parts shall be cleaned as much as possible before installation. In order to avoid the fault caused by the dirt entering the steering oil circuit, the plug on each oil port of steering pump of steering gear shall be opened before connecting the oil pipe, and the oil pipe and plug shall be carefully cleaned and deburred.

Turn the steering wheel to the straight ahead position. Clean the mounting bracket of the steering gear and relevant mating surfaces of the steering gear. For the adjustable steering column, use a suitable rope to pass through the space of the cross fork of the steering shaft, hang the steering shaft, and connect the steering shaft and the input shaft of the steering gear. Turn the steering gear to the middle position to align the relevant marks at the input end and output end of the steering gear. Install the steering gear on the mounting base and tighten the fixing bolts.

Universal joint or coupling between mounting column and steering gear. For the adjustable steering column, the upper end seal of the steering gear shall not be damaged when the universal joint is installed. Keep the steering wheel in straight ahead position. Put the pitman arm on the steering gear to align the two marks. Tighten the locknut according to the specified torque and rivet (anti loose pit).

How to Replace a Power Steering Rack. Drain the power steering fluid, loosen the front wheel nuts and jack up the car.

Once the vehicle is properly supported on the jack stands, remove the front wheel lug nuts and the wheels. Detach the clamps connecting the steering column to the piston. Disconnect the outer rod ends using a special tie rod separator or ball joint fork. Loosen the nuts and turn the rods. Remove the faulty steering rack.

Insert a drainage pan under the car to catch any fluid and unbolt the power steering rack from its seating. Remove the rack via one of the wheel wells. Use plenty of effort, patience and ingenuity. Install the new power steering rack. Using the same exit point as your entry point, insert the replacement rack into position using the required force.

Measure the length of the old rack to determine the precise positions of the tie and cotter pins. Insert the pins in the new rack. Reattach the hoses, except the steering fluid reservoir return line.

Replace the components that were removed to enable access to the rack, together with the front wheels. Bleed the power steering system. Turn the steering wheel back and forth for about 15 minutes to release air trapped in the system.

Turn off the engine and let it stand before topping up the reservoir with fluid. If the fluid is light brown in colour or has foam on the top, repeat the process until the fluid is clear. Reattach the reservoir hose, remove the drainage pan, lower the car and tighten the wheel nuts. The note there will NOT be read. Rule B: outer package without any damage.

In the condition o the below reasons. We are committed to resolve all issues in a friendly and satisfactory manner. We will solve your problem during working time (except weekends and public holidays).
